sampson “sam” gordon berns (october 23, 1996 – january 10, 2014) was the only child of dr. scott berns and dr. leslie gordon, suffered from progeria (a rare, rapid ageing disease) and helped raise awareness of the disease.
he was the subject of the HBO documentary life according to sam.

hitRECord is an online collaborative multi media production company created by actor/director, joseph gordon-levitt.
collaboratively made on our site, hitRECord.org, this short film began with a text record roswellgray (united states) contributed recounting the true story of the first time she ever saw the stars when she was 16 years old. It was adapted into a script and KatSmash (scotland) RECorded narration. it was later shot by actors elle fanning and james patrick stuart in front of a green screen and a ton of visual artists on the site began to illustrate the world around them. the animator 12.42 (united kingdom) took visual contributions and animated them all together. megancarnes (united states) composed a beautiful musical score and musicians from all over the world played along.

tove styrke is a swedish singer, songwriter, pianist, and model. she rose to prominence as a contestant on swedish idol 2009, finishing in third place.
brains out is a single released by the band in 2011.

reading rainbow is PBS children’s show, hosted by lavar burton from 1983 until 2006, that encourages children to read books.
